What are the best games for tablets?

We've put together a list of our top ten favourite games optimised for tablets, because at Geek Squad we understand that some games just look better on a bigger screen!

Most of the games we picked for this list can actually be played on phones as well as tablets, but we believe the ones we've chosen will look nicer and play better on a decent tablet device. Sine Mora

Sine Mora is a modern side-scrolling shoot-'em-up with a superb story . Fly your characters through each level avoiding enemy fire and taking down as many bad guys as possible, or switch the difficulty up to Insane Mode and try to survive until the end of the game! Spell Tower

Drag your finger over the letters on your screen to spell out words. The longer the word, the higher the score! This is a casual spelling game for any age, but more challenging levels like Rush Mode will push you to your limits as more and more letters appear as you play. Don't let the letters hit the top of the game board or you lose and it's time to start all over again.

Anomaly Korea

A completely different take on tower defense games, Anomaly Korea pits you against the defensive towers in this half combat/half strategy masterpiece. Try to keep your tanks running until the end of each level, destroying as many towers as possible on your way across the map. Buy new upgrades and perks to make the game more interesting, but spend your money wisely!

Limbo

Limbo is a stylish puzzle-platformer which sees you take on the role of a young boy journeying through dark and dangerous landscapes looking for his lost sister. With an eerie score, silhouetted graphics and a gruesome death waiting around each corner, this game is definitely one to play with the lights on.

Impossible Road

The concept of Impossible Road is simple. Roll a white ball down the road, but don't let it fall off the sides! The fun lies in how challenging this simple task can be, especially when the road twists, turns and flips to test your ball control.
